Hey all,

I found a big bug in trackback. Despite all of my testing and retesting, I somehow completely missed the fact that it's only accepting pings when the other site is pointing directly at the message page. (So it won't work if they're linking to the fullthread page, or the weblog II page, or Bound URL pages, etc.)

I know how to fix it, but it's going to require a change to the trackback url and the trackback:ping portion of the autodiscovery template.

This is a little ridiculous, and I apologize. It's also rather complicated, and now I understand why most systems which support trackback don't bother with any security features.

It'll be fixed this weekend. Thanks for your patience.

Seth
