I use Apple Mail v 1.2 mainly for the spam filtering. I've noticed that when sending an e-mail to my conversant site, I occasionally receive a message from the list that has the phrase: '(this message did not contain a body)' instead of, well, the body of the e-mail.

I used to think it happened only with Rich Text email, but it happened to me this morning with a plain text e-mail.

Seth asked me to post here to make sure it got onto his radar screen.

Here the relevant part from the 'view source' of the message:

Message-Id: <E860FC00-E74B-11D6-9143-000393A48B7A@romanvenable.net>
X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.546)

--Apple-Mail-2--826832344
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset=US-ASCII;
format=flowed

message begins here
