Hi Seth and Macrobyte team

Congratulations, once again you have managed to get several months in front of even your most adventurous and prolific users.

I don't know what XML-RPC is, but the people that do all seem to be mighty happy about it.

The features that I am particulary referring to, and am excited about, are the conditional macros and the nested macro/resource combo.

This has really come out of left field (for me). Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that this personal publishing power would be available to me, sitting ready and waiting, already in April 2001.

I read an article last week on storytelling on the Web. It was suggesting and promoting the idea of Amazoning the news. Using what the web is good at to tell stories in new ways. It inspired me, but at the same time left me with that hollow sick feeling in my gut, as I knew I did not have the tools available to do the experiments I wanted.

Then 'BOOM' 10 days later, what happens? Free-conversant, at no prompting of my own, boosts their own already comprehensive array of tools up, and suddenly I find myself with enough tools and tricks up my very untechnical sleeve, that if I wanted, I could build a personal version of Amazon, and still have enough juice left to build a Keenspot. Wow!

So, this is just a big thankyou and a big congratulations and a big handshake.

Keep it up guys. Wow.

Cheers Lyle

PS. It is probably a good thing that I do not know what XML-RPC is, otherwise I'd probably be REALLY excited.
